An Achievement Marked by Excellence… The School of Law at the University of Jordan Shines on the International Stage

In a proud academic milestone, the School of Law at the University of Jordan has achieved a remarkable international accomplishment as its team qualified for the oral pleadings stage of the Seventh International Commercial Arbitration Competition, one of the flagship initiatives of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration.

The team secured its place among the top 32 teams worldwide, outperforming more than 180 participating teams from universities across the globe, after successfully completing the remote pleadings phase. During this stage, the team demonstrated outstanding competence while competing against teams from Sultan Qaboos University, Umm Al-Qura University, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, and the University of Algiers.

The School of Law was proudly represented by the students:
Joud Al-Ajlouni, Mohammad Al-Barahmeh, Lama Allan, Lara Melhem, Mohammad Al-Adwan, and Seema Abzakh, whose dedication, teamwork, and professionalism reflected the high academic standards of the University of Jordan.

The team is supervised by Professor of Commercial Law, Dr. Ali Abdelmahdi Mosaada, with continuous guidance and support from Dr. Mishal Al-Jarrah, Director of the Moot Court Office and Legal Clinics, whose efforts played a key role in preparing the students for this competitive international experience.

Expressing his pride in this achievement, the Dean of the School of Law, Professor Bassem Melhem, praised the team's exceptional performance and affirmed the School's full support as the students prepare for the oral pleadings scheduled for early February. He described reaching this advanced stage as an unprecedented achievement, voicing hope that it will be crowned with further success and, God willing, winning the championship title.

Professor Melhem also extended his sincere appreciation to the University administration for its continued support in empowering students, nurturing their talents, and highlighting their achievements on regional and international platforms.
