The School of Law team at the University of Jordan won first place in the National Moot Court Competition for Law Students from Jordanian universities, organized by the Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation, as part of the project on enhancing protection mechanisms against digital violence toward women.

The competition witnessed the participation of several public and private universities, including the University of Jordan's School of Law team, which comprised students Oday Khattab, Majd Al-Samadi, Lina Al-Bayek, Batoul Abu Qaoud, Salma Al-Momani, and Aziz Othman.

The team was trained under the supervision of Dr. Amal Abu Anzeh, Professor of Criminal Law, and Dr. Mishal Al-Jarrah, Director of the Legal Clinic and Moot Court Program.

School representatives emphasized the importance of student participation in such competitions, which address crucial social and legal issues like violence against women, as they provide an opportunity for students to develop advanced skills in advocacy, analysis, critique, legal drafting, and teamwork.

The School of Law, led by its Dean Professor Basem Malhem, is committed to encouraging students to take part in moot court competitions, recognizing their vital role in enhancing legal expertise, building practical experience, and preparing graduates to enter the legal profession with confidence and competence.

This achievement reflects the continued support of the School's administration, in line with its vision and mission to bridge the gap between academic legal education and real-world professional practice, thereby empowering students with the skills necessary to excel in the diverse fields of law.
