A Seminar on the Insolvency Law at the School of Law

The School of Law at the University of Jordan held a seminar on the Insolvency Law No. 21 of 2018, attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Amin Al-Naser, various faculty members, guest lecturers, and students. The seminar aims to activate the memorandum of understanding that has been signed between the Companies Control Department and the University of Jordan. The seminar focused on defining insolvency in accordance with the law and exploring the philosophy on which it is based. It also reviewed the conditions and procedures for declaring insolvency and the stages through which the debtor goes through when his insolvency is declared.

The seminar was chaired by the Head of the Private Law Department, Dr. Ismaeel Al-Hadidi. The seminar consisted of multiple panel sessions presented by Prof. Dr. Fiyad Al-Qudah and the General Supervisor of Companies, Dr. Wael Al-Ermouti, Dr. Saeed Al-Hayajneh, and Drs. Sami Al-Kharbashah and Tariq Al-Ghazawi from the Companies Control Department.
