Announcement of the Winners in the First Research Competition on International Humanitarian Law

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) organized , on Monday the 5th Dec. 2022, a closing ceremony to announce the winners of the research competition on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) for the current year. The competition, in which private and public universities participated, aims to promote the education of IHL, and improve the teaching and learning methods of IHL in Hight education institutions by adopting practical approaches to encourage scientific research, and enhance students' creativity and critical thinking in law.

Student Bushra Alkayed from the School of law at the University of Jordan was awarded second place with research titled “ The Missing Persons in International Humanitarian Law". The ceremony was attended by the vice-dean Prof. dr. Suhail Haddadin and the assistant-dean dr. Ghofran Hilal, the competition supervisor, and also a number of faculty members from various Jordanian universities.
