In cooperation with the USAID Role of Law program, The Faculty of Law and the Center of Women Studies at the University of Jordan, USAID Takamol held a policy session in participation with experts and activists in the field of forced labor on Monday 7 December 2016. The policy session targets an audience of 200 people consisted of human rights activists, research centers, academics and university students.
The event concluded with a slam poetry performance by “El Ma7ki Ma3 Takamol” young poets with a focus on highlighting gender equity, gender stereotypes, economic challenges youth face, harassment, and issues of gender based violence.
