A delegation from the Universidade da Coruña from Spain visited the School of Law as part of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program. The delegation included Professor Fernando García, who specializes in commercial law, and Professor Marcos Suárez, who specializes in private law.
The Spanish delegation met with several members of the School on a roundtable discussion, where they exchanged similarities and differences between the legal education systems in Spanish and Jordanian universities. They also discussed the regulations and rules related to teaching and academic staff responsibilities in both countries as well as the teaching curricula for the academic programs offered at the School of Law. The discussion aimed to explore the experiences of Spanish universities regarding law education systems.
Dr. Fernando García delivered a lecture, which was attended by the Dean of the School, in English for the students of the Faculty of Law titled "An Introduction to European Competition Law", which was followed by a lecture presented by Dr. Marcos Suárez titled "An Introduction to Spanish Succession Law". A participatory discussion between the guests and the students followed the lectures.
